Our Canine Enrichment Center
Safety and fun are our top priorities, which is why we separate daycare guests based on size, temperament, and play style. But we believe dogs need more than just social interaction to have a truly fulfilling day. At A Closer Bond, we believe every dog deserves a day filled with purpose, learning, and fun. Our Enrichment Daycare goes beyond keeping your dog busy—it gives them the opportunity to use and express their natural instincts in ways that help them truly thrive.
Our Canine Enrichment Center is what sets us apart, offering dogs the chance to step away from the group and engage in focused, one-on-one time with our trained staff. Many dogs can become overstimulated or overly focused on social interactions, both at daycare and at home. Our enrichment sessions provide a calm, controlled environment designed to restore balance. Each experience is built around the five pillars of enrichment:
- Nutrition – Healthy treats and fun food puzzles
- Sensory Stimulation – Activities that engage all the senses, like sniffing trails and textured play
- Intellectual Growth – Problem-solving games and training sessions
- Social Engagement – Carefully supervised playgroups and/or individual activities to build confidence
- Physical Surroundings – Rotating play areas, obstacle courses, and interactive toys that keep things fresh and exciting.
With activities tailored to each dog’s individual needs, we help build better behaviors at home, boost confidence in new environments, and create more balanced, relaxed dogs overall. This personalized attention also strengthens the bond between your dog and our team, ensuring they feel seen, understood, and supported.
To make things even more exciting, we offer monthly themed enrichment experiences, designed to give dogs new, exciting adventures throughout each month while strengthening their confidence, social skills, and creating better behavior. We’re excited for you to experience a happier, more relaxed pet at home, too.
Spots for Enrichment Daycare and themed experiences are limited and fill quickly, so be sure to secure your spot and give your dog the gift of enrichment, growth, and play.
“We were a little hesitant at first because we weren’t sure if this approach would leave Nola with more energy than her sister Juno (who spends the day in group) once they got home in the evening. Nola is every bit as tired as Juno and also noticeably much more on point with her commands! The refresher sessions are clearly helping Nola’s behavior and she seems a little calmer, too (she is just over a year old)! More than anything else, we trust Sarah and the staff to take great care of Nola and Juno while they’re at A Closer Bond (we have also tried a couple other daycare options and can’t say the same).”
