Our founder Katy Cushing committed her life to this special connection when she graduated dog training school in 1988. After working with trainers in Chicago and Atlanta, Katy took her natural ability and extensive background and opened A Closer Bond in 1994. Every day since, our mission has been to help dogs and pet parents connect on a deeper level for the most fulfilling, joyful friendship possible.
